Tommy Grady,
has informed
the University
of Oklahoma
coaching staff
he plans to
transfer
before the
beginning of
the fall
semester.
Grady,
a native of
Huntington
Beach, Calif.,
was one of
three
quarterbacks
competing for
the starting
job in the
spring. But he
missed every
practice this
fall to attend
intersession
courses.
Grady,
who was backup
last year to
Heisman trophy
winner Jason
White,
was 12-for-14
for 63 yards
and one
touchdown in
five games as
a backup last
season.
Grady,
is expected to
be interested
in Utah.
Although,
Grady is not
allowed to
transfer to
University of
Southern Cali.
or UCLA.
Grady's mother
Christy Grady
told the AP,
"He's not
happy about
it, I'll tell
you that,"
Christy Grady
said. "He
loves
Oklahoma."
