Making the Band 3 Members

When Making the Band 3 returned for Season Two, Diddy once again sent his team (Laurie-Ann Gibson, Doc Holiday, and Johnny Wright)  across the country to audition new girls for the group. Finally 18 girls were chosen and moved into the NYC loft, with returning girls Aubrey, Aundrea and Malika.

  The girls performed in front of 20,000 at the Backstreet Boys concert. There were two groups. Group one, named "SHE", included Aubrey, Melissa, Denosh, Jasmine, and Kelli. Group two, named "Chain 6", included Aundrea, Dawn, Shannon, Wanita, Dominique, and Taquita. During dress rehearsal, group one was the favorite according to Dave, Laurie Anne and Doc. However, as the first group gave their performance, they were booed off stage, because Denosh was off key. The second group was the winner as tons of screaming girls yelled for them. In the end of the episode, Aundrea confesses how happy she feels that she did not have to 'dress sexy' to win the audience's approval.

  The finale took place on Thursday, December 8th, 2005, where the 11 contestants left competed for 5 spots in the band. The 11 finalists; Aundrea, Aubrey, Dawn, Jasmine, Taquita, Denosh, Wanita, Shannon, Melissa, Kelli, and Dominique, were sent home for 3 months, told to polish up, and return for the final stretch. When the girls returned after their 3 month hiatus, they had to perform numerous acts such as radio interviews, a photoshoot, and re-do all of their old dance routines. As Diddy's crew chooses the group, all of the girls go on a last dinner.

  Diddy announced that the final five were Aubrey, Aundrea, Dawn, Wanita and Shannon. No word yet on the band's name, when the girls will come out with their first single, or album.
